




Notice the person in the space suit working on the ISS in the fourth picture. Look directly at the center of the picture. He is rather difficult to see if you aren't looking. That must be quite a rush.
UPDATE: When I said "last" in the title of this post, I didn't mean "the last mission." I meant, "the most recent." The last one should be coming soon enough. I will have a post in the near future about NASA and the future of the U.S. in space.

Not certain where the US manned space program is going. The recent decision by the Obama panel that a manned return to the moon would be too expensive was a real downer.
Frankly I just hope they can get the Orion vehicle up and running.
On a brighter side, several companies have ongoing projects to provide cheap access to space for people. One called SpaceDev even had ideas about using its private vehicle to send paying customers on a lunar flyby.
