Delusional people think more guns is the answer to weekly massacres.

I don't know if these people are just so delusional that they cannot see what they look like to normal people or they are so without moral scruples that they don't care what they are saying.  I just don't know...  But this country is experiencing some deep moral sickness, and I do not know how or when it might get better.

Gun rights activists have been out in force since the massacre at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, once again blaming the slaughter on so-calledgun-free zones, and claiming that an armed citizen could have otherwise stopped the attack. It's an argument that the gun lobby has used for many years, but on Thursday afternoon it was marked by a brazen new low with comments from Charles Cotton, a longtime board member of the National Rifle Association. Cotton wrote on a Texas gun-rights forum that slain pastor and South Carolina state Sen. Clementa Pinckney was responsible for the murders of his congregants because of his opposition to looser concealed-carry laws.
"Eight of his church members, who might be alive if he had expressly allowed members to carry handguns in church, are dead," Cotton said. "Innocent people died because of his political position on the issue."

What is wrong with these people?!?  Rick Perry, a Republican running for president says that the shooting in Charleston was "an accident caused by drugs"??  WTF?!?

When Princesses Attack!

Yes, more guns would solve everything!

So, which one was the "good guy with the gun" and which was the "bad guy with the gun?"  I'm confused.

Road rage in Michigan.
Witnesses say that Pullum pulled into the parking lot of a car wash and Taylor who was at the time tailgating him followed him in. Both men exited their vehicles and began to argue as the argument escalated, Taylor pulled his gun and began to fire. Pullum, who was also carrying a gun, drew his and returned fire. Both men apparently died at the scene.

It's been years since I have actually done anything with this blog.  I am thinking of trying to resurrect it, however. Stay tuned.
